My brother and I went out a few weeks ago to Black Mountain to do some hiking and climbing. Cool place, lots of good rock and a bunch of caves to play in. Those rocks are cool. Looks like a fun area.
I grew in PA and we had a Cabin in the Allegheny Mountains and I grew up playing in areas like that. The Appalachians truly are an amazing sight, boulders bigger than houses covered in moss and ferns everywhere. I miss it sometimes. I have to plan a trek back east to do some hiking along the trail again sometime soon.
